Pedro and Karen  Marroquin, of Guatemala, along with their two children Alma Sofia and Esteban Daniel make up part of our staff family here at YWAM Guatemala City. Serving in the departments of Hospitality and Maintenance and assisting in our Generations ministry, we are excited for what new roles they will play within our ministries.

The Marroquins have been involved in missions for about 25 years, starting as singles, and 17 years in missions as a family. The Marroquins completed their DTS is YWAM Panama Boquete. Now, they have returned to Guatemala and joined us on staff here at YWAM Guatemala City!

Their desire is to be a family that mobilizes and trains, through teaching and discipleship, the present generation of Guatemalans and foreigners in order to complete the Great Commission. They also hope to be part of promoting and intentional movement of intercession and strategy, the arts, methods of communications and business to be part of completing the Great Commission. 

Their future goals are to empower our youths and guatemalan families to complete the great mission wherever it is they are. They want to become teachers and staff in the DTS and and teach in the SST program, here in Guatemala, as well as in other bases.  Pedro and Karen hope to see their children encounter their place and purpose in God’s great mission and in the spheres of society. They hope to see our base in the new property, believing in receiving more students and teams to reach out to more people for the Kingdom.
