Boris Canahuí of Guatemala, and his wife, Nela Molina de Canahuí, of Colombia join us as staff here at YWAM Guatemala along with their neson, Aslan Ricardo or as we like to call him “Baby Ricky”. 

Boris is from San Miguel Chicaj in the Department of Baja VeraPaz and completed his DTS here at YWAM Guatemala City. He has been involved in missions for seven years, spending two of those years as staff with us. Along with the DTS, Boris has completed the School of the Bible in Diriamba, Nicaragua and one of his passions is to bring the School of the Bible to his home country in his mission to see more youth rooted in biblical principles as they live out God’s call in their lives. Boris uses his talents in our Maintenance Department.

Nela Molina de Canahuí, of Bucaramanga, Colombia has spent her whole life in missions thanks to being born into a YWAM family, and completed her DTS in Tyler, Texas! Along with the DTS, Nela has completed the TFN, PCYM, School of Government, as well as, the School of the Bible. She joined our staff, alongside her husband, on 2019 and has used her talents assisting with our Teams department, as part of the communications department and taking care of Ricky. Nela longs to see a growth in Biblical training, and along with her husband, desires to see the birth of the School of the Bible throughout the nations of Central America.

They are both the leaders of the Bible School for the Nations.
